Globalization and hence the rapid exposure to internatonal competition and markets has caused domestic companies from Rapidly Emerging Economies (REEs) such as China, India and other countries in Asia, Central and Eastern Europe, and Latin America to grapple with continuous change.
The colloquium will bring together international scholars and practitioners to address the political, economic, sociological, cultural, institutional and legal factors and issues that shape governance structures, employment relations, and management practices in the contemporary functioning of organizations.
The colloquium will debate how evolving management practices, processes and change, in their convergence and divergence across industries, cultures and nations, are shaping the world, and our understanding of it, today.
The conference is intended for Faculty who have intrests in OB / HR

Successful, growing companies generally have strong leaders who are effective in organising and managing the overall functioning of the organisations. Leaders break new ground, they inspire employees, and they create rather than follow. Leaders develop new markets and shape existing ones.
Among the companies that have the the core qualities, only a few also have good management and can execute their strategies.
Since in the intensified competition organising and managing has its own importance to carve its nichie, such conferences and seminars would be highly efficacious for not only knowledge management but also in its practical implications.
